Sutherland Farms
invites your class to take a field
trip out to our Pumpkin Patch.
Bring your class out for a fun educational day at the farm beginnin September 27, 2010 through October 29, 2010.
Educational classroom with a certified teacher conducts a lesson
on the plants, seasons, water and farming practices.
New session on
composting, recycling and being "Green".
Each student will receive a hayride, a trip to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin and all get a snack.
Corn Pit, Maze, Animals, SFM barrel train and some new surprise activities are
all part of the experience.
Cost: All of this fun for
only $4.00 per student, guest, and chaperone.
Teachers are free. Each class
will receive a 20-25 lb. Pumpkin for their classroom.
· Upon arrival you will be assigned a group leader and your own area for
your time on the farm. In your area you will be able to leave your belongings,
enjoy a
snack and your lunch if you wish.

Your visit will begin with an educational lesson
that will incorporate science and math components. Your group will go through
the Maze, visit the animals, go on on the hayride and have a snack.

All the students will then play in the corn pit, ride the
train
After school groups
·
3:30 pm to 4:30 pm on regular school days.
· The times for after school groups
will be 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm on early out days.

Your group will receive the hayride, pie pumpkin,
train, animals, maze and play area.

We are located 7.5 miles north of Aztec or 3.5 miles from Cedar Hill on County Road 2900 (Ruins Road).
